WHERE WE STARTED:

 

    Prior to venturing into the contracting business, Ken Galbus and David Kline worked for Ray Kline who owned Kline Awning and Siding. At the time; Kline Awning and Siding was one of the biggest contractors; and window manufacturers in the region. Ray had four different offices in the Tri-State area; employing close to 75 hard working individuals. When Ray retired; David (Ray's son), and Ken Galbus (who's been a part of the Kline family since he was 10) were eager to go out on their on. At the ages of 22, and 26; the young, ambitious entrepreneurs put together their years of experience to form Kline Window and Door in 1985.

WHERE WE ARE NOW

    In 1985, David and Ken worked together to form partnerships with suppliers, other contractors; and most importantly homeowners. They carried on the tradition of honesty, knowledge, a hard work ethic, and most importantly a fair price for quality work. What started as a team of two, became a team of five by the early 1990's. In 2005, Ken and David were about to take their biggest leap yet.....Thomas and Son Awning Company based out of Boonsboro, MD became available for sale. Carrying on the same traditions and knowledge they gained from Ray, Kline Window and Door; became Kline Awning and Window over night. Dave and Ken, now employ eight full time employees. When expanding into the commerical and residential awning industry, Dave and Ken made it a point to stay true to their roots, and services offered. Kline Awning and Window still offers replacement windows, replacement doors, siding, gutters, and roofing.

FOCUSING ON THE FUTURE:

     Kline Awning and Window has been around for 36-years, and we look forward to serving customers another 36 years. Kalvin, David's son has been learning what it takes to run a successful business first hand. David and Ken, still work in the field to this day. Kline Awning and Window does not have a "glorified" salesman, we do our best to reach out and schedule appointments in a timely manner. Wether you meet David, Ken, or Kalvin on site for your free estimate; rest assured you will see them hands on come time to complete your project. We will be more than happy to give you your free estimate, we just ask for patiance as we do not want to mistake quantity for quality.
